The words of Mathilde Rœllinger

Story

200 years ago, saffron was grown in Brittany. In 2018, Fabienne, a self-taught saffron grower, revived the tradition by planting a 1-acre organic saffron field in the countryside between Dol-de-Bretagne and Mont-Saint-Michel. The bulbs matured into magnificent flowers. The harvest, which is carried out by hand just like the weeding, takes place in October.
