Story

Olivier Roellinger was born in Cancale and lived a happy childhood right up until the moment when his father left, and the household went to shambles. Brought up by his mother, he dreamt of being a yacht racer. At the age of twenty, however, he was attacked Clockwork Orange-style by a gang in Saint-Malo. Bones shattered, he spent two years paralysed, and had to reimagine his future career from the bottom up. He decided to become a chef.
In 1982, he opened the Bricourt restaurant. Ten years later, people the world over would come to delight in his exceptional style of cuisine, which pairs the gastronomic treasures of Bretagne with exotic spices. The highly-prized third Michelin star was awarded to Roellinger in 2006. In 2008, he would change his life's direction yet again, throwing himself into a new challenge...
