Story
This rare, unique, Vanilla planifolia grows nearly 20 cm (7 inches) long. The patient curing technique carried out by a passionate grower in New Caledonia naturally saturates the beans with vanillin, which then forms frost-like crystals on the surface.
The beans continue to cure and frost over with spiky crystals in our "Cave à Vanilles" (Vanilla Cellar) at the Maison du Voyageur.
