Story

Purple cardamom (Amomum subulatum Roxb) thrives in the cold forests of Nepal at an altitude of 1000 meters. The plants grow in the shade of other trees. 

The cardamom fruits are 2 cm pods that are filled with highly aromatic grains. 

Cardamom is used to season curries, masalas, and biryani dishes.
